Bad Walter's news: get fizzy🫧
Last week!
Even though a chunk of people were traveling, looks like a lot of you were in town last week! We released a brand new flavor in pints (Wabbit Season) and it blew away all of our expectations. We’re desperately trying to source more lactose-free cream cheese and we can’t wait to bring it back. Jack Sparrow (which I wrote last week about and subsequently forgot to put on the menu) did exactly as well as we expected—which is to say it also sold out the same day we put it out.
Personally, my health has been a bit of a rollercoaster. I mean, it’s always a rollercoaster, but right now it’s particularly up and down. Just another layer on an already-physically taxing job. And it’s all kicking up right as everyone is on vacation! (Everyone requested their times off so far ahead of time I didn’t even think twice until it came right back around to shoot me in the foot). I’m trying to rest up early in the week because I’m working full shifts scooping this weekend. So if you come by, say hi!
This week!
Friday is going to be 80°+ and if that’s not a reason to try the sorbet fizz, I don’t know what is. Two scoops of our limonana sorbet, topped with a Topo Chico. If you bring a flask with rum/tequila/gin, that is not my business.
The flavors in scoops this week all really beautifully compliment each other and are hit after hit after hit. I’m also *extra* excited to debut a new flavor. You know Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked? That was my favorite flavor when I was a kid because brownies AND cookie dough? I mean, the madness! But this is the Bay Area and can go a little harder than that. So we swapped the chocolate/vanilla duo for coffee and you’ve got Straight Trippin’ 😵💫. I’ve been daydreaming of this flavor for literal years but wanted to wait until the brownies and cookie dough were just right.
We’re also bringing back a flavor from the pop-up days. If you ride or die for Drunk in Love, get ready to test your loyalty with Nightcap. We’ve got the amaretto frozen custard, but this time it’s paired with Amarena cherries and chunks of crumbly homemade pie crust. UGH it’s just so perfect. I don’t know how/why we haven’t done it yet this year but I am pumped to do it now.
And ICYMI, It’s the last week of our beloved Tinky Winky! The ube isn’t just gorgeous but the combo tastes like cotton candy and has been such a slam dunk. I will miss her a lot.

NOTE: People keep asking about allergens on the menu which is tough—the menu is already so long as it is and I don’t want to leave anything out. (I’m allergic to soy and it. is. in. everything. always.) But this week, I’m tacking allergens on to the flavor names in the same way I do on the pint labels. Very IYKYK. What do you think?
